30+ YEARS OF HAPPY CLIENTS AND EMPLOYERS
With more than 30 years of experience, I am a Board-Certified Editor in the Life Sciences (ELS) and an expert in AMA style.
I have been a medical editor for more than 30 years and have loved the entire journey. I began in Journalism school at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, edited clinical trials in HIV for a government contracting agency, and then moved to pharmaceutical advertising and health care communications for the majority of my career. I worked for Duke University as editor for The Alliance for Cellular Signaling–Nature Molecule Pages database and then as an editor in health economics and outcomes research and market access. In 2017, I started my own freelance medical editing business, Semicolon Editing.
